~~Prayer & Moving~~

Hi all my bloggy-friends!

People may plan all kinds of things,
but the Lord's will is going to be done.
Proverbs 19:21 GNT

I've got a short post for you today and if things go as planned (which hardly ever happens), I will blog about the first half of Nehemiah this evening after the kids are in bed and the house is quiet :)

First off, I need to ask for prayer. My best friend's father is in the Critical Care Unit in Little Rock. He became unresponsive on Sunday evening and has been in/out since then. He is undergoing many tests including MRI, EEG, spinal tap, etc. Please pray for him and his family. Pray for strength, comfort and peace for my best friend Cara. This is a heart breaking situation and I am not able to be at the hospital due to work and family, so the only way I can send my love is through prayer! Thank you in advance dear friends!

Also, my family will be moving between the 1st and 15th about 15 miles north of where we are currently. The reasoning behind our move is simple: closer to our work, gas prices and mostly, Aspen starts kindergarten August 17th and we want her in a better & smaller school district!!

We are very excited but very nervous. This is a tight financial time for us, and moving is expensive.
I'll admit that I freaked out yesterday over it...I wasn't trusting God with this burden, even though I know that there is no way for me to carry this alone!

I'm doing my best to lay it down and let Him walk us through this, carrying each worry on His mighty shoulders! I am so thankful that He is my source of strength and that He is my refuge and that even though I have no clue how this is going to work out, He already has it worked out completely!

 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 28:7 NIV

So, please, if you have a moment, say a prayer for my family and our current situation and our very near-future move! I appreciate it so so much!
